COP 27 FOR THE UN
Qasa travels to Egypt for COP27 where he moderates a variety of events for the UN regarding climate change, the environment & agriculture. He questions some of the leading experts and government ministers on large panels to find out what important agreements and negotiations need to take playgoing forward.
RADIO 4 & THE WORLD SERVICE
Qasa makes a variety of programmes for The BBC World Service and Radio . Including Pick of the Week and a programme for Radio 4 (featured here) on the Uk’s first ‘climate refugees’ in Fairbourne, Wales
GREAT LIVES - ARTHUR ASHE
For Great Lives on BBC Radio 4 - Qasa profiles Arthur Ashe. Activist, Tennis Player and sporting Icon. He is the first and last black man to win Wimbledon as well as campaigned for social justice.
THE BOAT RACE - BBC ONE
Qasa joins the presentation team for the BBC’s Boat Race line-up alongside Clare Balding and Leigh Mackenzie. Qasa was stationed at Hammersmith for the annual race won yet again on both sides by University of Cambridge.
BBC ENVIRONMENTAL PROGRAMMES
A passionate environmentalist, Qasa makes and presents programmmes for the World Service on Climate conservation. Firstly looking at why Mangroves are essential for reducing carbon emissions and secondly about the impact of fertilisers on the planet. He also is making a programme about rising sea levels and the impact it will have on the UK.
GLOBAL SPORTS POSITIVE SUMMIT
Qasa moderates an event at the global Sports Positive Sustainability summit at Wembley stadium. Qasa speaks to sustainability leads from World Athletics and the FIA to find out how sport is trying to be more active in saving the planet and reducing emissions for the future…

Qasa makes his debut presenting for BBC Sport News. The sports bulletins broadcast across the world and involve writing and presenting in a live studio environment.
COMMONWEALTH GAMES
Qasa is one of the reporters for BBC Sport across the Commonwealth Games. A mix of live reporting, mixed zone interviews with the athletes, reports and highlights pieces to keep the audience across all the incredible sporting action during the games.
YOUTUBE DOCUMENTARY SERIES
Qasa writes, directs and produces a 6 part documentary series exclusive to YouTube all about Climate Change in Bangladesh. The country of his grandparents. This series gets closer than many others ever have to the real impacts of global warming on people right at the frontline in this environmental challenge.

Qasa makes programmes for Costing the Earth. An environmental programme for Radio 4 about different ways we are harming the planet.
THE ONE SHOW
Qasa makes a film for The One Show all about the film and cinema culture in his hometown of Birmingham. It is a piece full of heritage, love and warmth looking at the past and focusing on the future.
COLLABORATION WITH IFAD AT COP 26 & BEYOND
Qasa has worked closely with the UN and International Department for Agricultural Development on hosting talks at COP 26 - the worlds largest climate summit. He has also been to visit projects IFAD helps to fund & support around the world.

QASA HITS YOUTUBE WITH QASAVISION
Qasa starts a new year long programme to make content on YouTube as part of the platforms Global News Initiative thanks to innovation funding. A brilliant opportunity for Qasa to make content for new audiences including explainers on climate change, deep-dive analysis of current affairs and international documentaries.
BIRMINGHAM PHOENIX MAIN HOST
Qasa has been named as the main host for the Birmingham Phoenix in the first year of the exciting Cricket tournament called “The Hundred”. The tournament is run by the ECB will bring some of the best Men’s and Women’s cricketers from all around the world to the UK for this brand new 8-team competition.
BANGLADESH AT 50 SERIES
Qasa presented & produced various documentaries, articles, reports and a podcast series for the BBC about 50 years of Bangladeshi Independence. The season included a BBC Radio 4 doc, a news report at 6/10 o clock news, a 5-part podcast series on BBC Sounds, a viral news article* about climate change & content on the World Service. The season has been widely praised including by the UN.

Qasa presents the Big Debate throughout the Coronavirus Pandemic. He brings the listeners information every day about the changing world. He listens to their fears and concerns. And challenges politicians and medical professionals over decisions that are made such as lockdown, regional tier systems and the vaccine rollout.

Qasa makes his debut as a presenter for BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra at the ATP Tour World Finals, a mens tennis tournament between the top 8 players in the world. Including huge matches such as Novak DJokovic v Dominic Thiem and Rafael Nadal v Daniil Medvedev.

Qasa begins presenting Asian Networks Flagship Current Affairs Radio Programme “The Big Debate” He covers many powerful moments such as the Centenary of WW1, two British General Elections, The US Election, Indian Election and various huge stories such as the George Floyd Killing, Brexit and Racism.
CROSSING BIRMINGHAM'S INVISIBLE BORDERS
Qasa Produces and Directs a powerful 30 min Documentary called “Crossing Birmingham’s Invisible Borders”. It’s an observational documentary that follows two groups of women, one muslim, another predominantly white as they spend a summer getting to know each other in the wake of Islamic Terror Attacks.
PRESENTER: BOOKS THAT BUILT BRITAIN
Qasa Presents a BBC One TV 30 Min Documentary called “The Books That Built Britain” This focuses specifically on JRR Tolkien and his links to Worcestershire/Moseley as well as other famous books such as “Nice Work” by David Lodge and Jonathan Coe’s The Rotters Club.

Qasa is part of the BBC Radio team that covers Wimbledon He Interviews the likes of Jo Konta Heather Watson Jamie Murray and Neil Skupski as he follows the journey of British players throughout the various tournaments.

Qasa goes to Lesbos to produce and present a documentary for BBC One on the Migrant Crisis following a charity from Birmingham as they try to help people flee the Taliban for a better life in Europe.

Qasa is part of the team that creates the “Birmingham Investigations Unit” for BBC Inside Out. Produces and Presents 9 min films for BBC One including: Dangers of tattoo removal creams, Knife Crime Raids in Birmingham, Taxi’s overcharging Wheelchair users, Synthetic drugs killing homeless people.
